Dear Loungeheads,
it’s been very quiet around HEAVY METAL BARPIANO over the last months. Behind the scene, I haven’t been all lazy, nevertheless it’s been about half a year since my last solo show.
But this live hiatus has come to an end: The first four gigs in 2026 are just ahead! I am thrilled to see you soon here: On April 30th, I’ll finally return to the Ruhrpott area, Germany, for the first time ever to the Helvete in Oberhausen. The day after, I’ll serve as your aftershow act at the release concert of my Flamish mates of OCTOBER CHANGES who are going to release their first full-length album then.
On May 2nd, I’ll be there for you for a full evening again, just at the same place: The Sound Embassy in Bree, Belgium (former Ragnarok). The entrance there is free of charge again, just like at the gig in Oberhausen – anyway, I kindly ask you for filling the tip jar properly.
On May 9th, I’ll be playing at the Heidenheimer Musiknacht for the fourth time already. Hard to believe, but in the year 2025, I haven’t played any show in my hometown. So, I am looking forward even more to a short journey and to seeing many familiar faces in the Wilhelms Lounge (former Wilhelms Eck). See you there!
