Dear Loungeheads,
thank you all for an absolutely amazing live year 2024, packed with loads of great shows and experiences!
HEAVY METAL BARPIANO has appeared in 10 countries with 4 of them for the first time ever (no. 10 – Luxembourg – is not on the list since it was no festival gig). I’ve been on the billings – usually as sideshow act – with countless great bands, such as THE OFFSPRING, TOOL, LIMP BIZKIT, BODY COUNT, SUM 41, BAD RELIGION, SABATON, ABBATH, ELECTRIC CALLBOY, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, HAMMERFALL, DROPKICK MURPHYS, AMORPHIS, SOILWORK, FEUERSCHWANZ, MAJESTICA, HELLRIPPER, THE PRODIGY, JOEY BELLADONNA, KK’S PRIEST, ARCHITECTS and many, many more.
I’ve even got to meet some of these great musicians and all of them were very pleased learning there’s a guy playing their songs on the piano.
The festival year 2024 started and ended each with a Metal cruise, in total it has been 3 cruises featuring HEAVY METAL BARPIANO: NORDIC METAL CRUISE, MEDITERRANEA METAL CRUISE and SABATON CRUISE.
I think my best show was the late night set at ROCK HARD FESTIVAL with hundreds of partying Metal fans.
Also a big highlight was my jam with JOEY BELLADONNA of ANTHRAX at MEDITERRANEA METAL CRUISE.
And another special event was my dinner jobs for the set up crew at SUMMER BREEZE Open Air.
A big thank you goes out to all the amazing teams at NORDIC METAL CRUISE, NO PLAYBACK FESTIVAL, DURBUY ROCK, ROCK HARD FESTIVAL, COPENHELL, JERA ON AIR, BANDLIFT, FREE & EASY FESTIVAL, BÈRFEST, SUMMER BREEZE, MEDITERRANEA METAL CRUISE, SABATON CRUISE plus all the teams at my numerous club and pub gigs and of course those Loungeheads who invited me to their private events!
Stay tuned for my live year 2025! I am in touch with numerous promoters in about a dozen countries, even one or two where I haven’t been playing before. The first gig in 2025 will be at NORDIC METAL CRUISE in February – for the third time in a row.
