Dear Loungeheads,
oh, what a wonderful feeling, walking around outside in November, only wearing a t-shirt. This just happened at the first ever Mediterranea Metal Cruise, which also has been the first Metal cruise ever sailing the Greek islands.
It’s not a huge surpise that on this virgin voyage, not the whole boat has been entered by us Metalheads. There’s also been some “ordinary mortals” as well, but that wasn’t a mood killer at all. Au contraire: Ironically, we’ve shared the ship with an US American bible group. And quite a few of them got infected by Metal, so one or two priests turned into a Judas Priest…
The undisputed highlight was my jam with ANTHRAX vocalist Joey Belladonna which wasn’t at all in the mood for doing a song by his well-known colleagues. Which Rock classic we did instead, you can see on my Instagram channel and on Facebook.
My first ever trip to Greece is only just processed when there’s already the next short termed mega highlight in sight. You still need a little patience until it’s officially announced, just three little hints: It’s Sweden again, a cruise again and the host is a popular Power Metal band which almost solely sings about – let’s say, interhuman differences.
