Dear Loungeheads,
bad news first: Because of productional reasons, I unfortunately cannot play at this year’s edition of Knock Out Festival in Karlsruhe (Germany), after two years back to back.
The good news: Pretty short-termed, I’ve been invited to another Heavy Metal cruise this year. While typing these lines, I am already checked in for my flight to Stockholm. Yes, it’s Scandinavia again!
More precisely: From this Wednesday to Friday, I’ll be aboard Baltic Queen which sets sails from the Swedish capital to Estonia’s capital Tallinn and back. This happening is called “Sabaton Cruise”. Yes, you’re right: This cruise is hosted by those SABATON who have been constantly rising in the line-ups of all big Metal festivals for the last 25 years and I will be playing four times at the piano bar.
You might think your favourite Metal bar pianist has become a true sailor. But this event is also the last one for HEAVY METAL BARPIANO in the year 2024. So, before the tranquil Christmas time starts, let’s get really loud for one last time!
